This documentation provides a comprehensive guide on integrating Docsuomo with Zapier. Zapier is a popular automation tool that allows users to connect various applications and automate workflows. By integrating Docsumo with Zapier, users can automate document processing and streamline data extraction tasks.

Action and Trigger Events

Trigger Event

The current trigger event available for the Docsumo's Zapier integration is:

  1. Document Status Changed: This trigger event is activated when the status of a document in Docsumo is changed. It can be used to monitor and track the progress of document processing. When the status of a document changes, such as from "Reviewing" to "Processed," "Skipped," or "Errored," this trigger event will initiate the integration workflow.

Action Event

The current action event available for the Docsumo's Zapier integration is:

  1. Upload Document: This action event allows you to upload a new document to your Docsumo account. You can specify the document file, choose the document type. Once the document is uploaded, Docsumo will process it and extract the desired data based on the document type.

Before you begin the integration process, ensure that you have the following:

Zapier Account: Sign up for a Zapier account at https://zapier.com/
Docsumo API Key: Get the API Key for your Docsumo account from the integration settings - https://app.docsumo.com/settings/integration/

Using Docsumo Action in Workflow

To use Docsumo action, you can follow the same instructions as above except adding Docsumo as the trigger while creating the zap. Instead you can select a different trigger based on your requirements, and add Docsumo as an intermediary step in the Zap workflow.

Happy Integrating!
