Cancelling Your Account Subscription
If you no longer need your Docsumo account subscription, you can cancel your subscription directly from the Billing section, or by contacting our Customer Success team (for Business and Enterprise plans).
How to Cancel Your Subscription
For Starter, Growth, and Pro:
- Go to Settings > Billing > Overview.
- Under your current plan section, click Cancel subscription.
- Confirm your cancellation in the prompt that appears.
Only account admins can cancel the subscription.
For Business and Enterprise Plans:
To cancel a Business or Enterprise plan:
- Please reach out to our Customer Success Team or contact us at [email protected].
- We’ll guide you through the offboarding process and help ensure proper data handling and transition.
What Happens After Cancellation?
- Your account will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
- You will not be charged for the next cycle.
- Your usage and access will continue until your plan expires.
Example:
If your billing period ends on 1 Nov 2025, you can continue using Docsumo until then, even after canceling on an earlier date.
Need Help or Just Want to Downgrade?
- Visit the Plans tab to switch to a smaller plan (if you're on a Starter, Growth or Pro Plan).
- For downgrade options for Business or Enterprise plans, talk to your Customer Success Manager.
Can I Reactivate Later?
Yes! You can log back in and upgrade your account anytime. Your data may still be available if you return within the retention window.
