What is the meaning of different metrics on the analytics screen?

Understanding the Analytics Screen

The analytics screen provides valuable insights into the performance of the platform, specifically focusing on the extraction of information from documents. This screen enables you to monitor various key metrics and assess the efficiency and accuracy of the document processing workflow.

Below, we define and explain each field displayed on the Analytics Screen:

Average Time Per Document:

  • This metric represents the average time taken by workers to process a single document.

  • Calculation: (Total time taken by the worker to process files) / (Total number of documents processed).

Note: This metric measures the overall processing time but does not account for the time taken from document creation to its status changing to "review." We plan to include this additional data in the future for a more comprehensive analysis.

Average API Time Per Document:

  • This indicates the average time taken by workers to process a single document using APIs.
  • Calculation: (Total time taken by the worker to process files via APIs per day) / (Total number of documents processed via APIs per day).

Average Turnaround Time:

  • The Average Turnaround Time represents the average time it takes for a document to be processed from the moment it is created until it reaches the "processed" status.
  • Calculation: (Total time between Document Processed and Document Created) / (Total number of documents processed per day).

Average Corrections Per Document:

  • This metric quantifies the average number of corrections made on a document during the processing workflow.
  • Calculation: (Total number of corrections made on documents) / (Total number of documents processed per day).

Accuracy:

  • Accuracy measures the percentage of cases where the original value extracted from fields, using either one-shot or ML techniques, matches the value when the document is approved.
  • It assesses the reliability of the extraction process and indicates the consistency of extracted data.

Straight Through Processing (STP):

  • STP indicates whether Straight Through Processing was enabled in the settings. STP allows documents to be processed directly without manual intervention, and no changes are made during processing.
  • If STP is enabled and a document meets the criteria, it proceeds from creation to processing without manual review or corrections.
  • These fields provide valuable insights into the efficiency and accuracy of your document processing workflow.

By monitoring these metrics on the Analytics Screen, you can identify areas for improvement, optimise your processes, and ensure the consistent and reliable extraction of data from documents.
